If your navigation system only displays Kastanienallee 10435 Berlin, you can also select this, as our Kastanienallee is located in the Berlin Mitte and Berlin Pankow districts (Prenzlauer Berg district).
A10 Berliner Ring to Dreieck Nuthetal, then A115 to Dreieck Funkturm, exit A100 Wedding/Seestraße. The city highway goes directly into Seestraße. Keep going straight on until you reach the Müllerstraße intersection. Turn right here. Müllerstrasse becomes Chausseestrasse. Turn left at the corner of Chausseestrasse and Invalidenstrasse. At the Invalidenstrasse/Brunnenstrasse intersection, continue straight ahead into Veteranenstrasse. Take the next right turn into Fehrbelliner Strasse. Then immediately turn left into Kastanienallee. Now it is only about 300 m to the Hotel Kastanienhof in Berlin Mitte.
Berliner Ring to A114, Pankow exit, Autobahn becomes Prenzlauer Promenade and later Prenzlauer Allee. When you have passed the Prenzlauer Allee S-Bahn station (on the right), turn right into Stargarder Straße. Drive straight ahead to Schönhauser Allee. Turn left at the Stargarder Straße/Schönhauser Allee intersection. Now drive straight ahead along Schönhauser Allee, cross the large crossing Schönhauser Allee/Eberswalder Straße and turn half right behind the Sparkasse into Kastanienallee. Now just drive straight ahead. After the second crossroads you will already see the Kastanienhof on the left-hand side.
Our hotel is located in the "environmental zone", which has been in effect in Berlin's inner city districts since January 1st, 2008. This means that you need an "environmental sticker" if you arrive by car.
There are rarely parking spaces around the hotel, so we recommend that you reserve a parking space for a motorcycle or car in our enclosed courtyard in good time.
Access is possible from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., the access width is max. 2.30m, the access height is max. 2.50m. The parking space costs 15.00 euros per night.

From BER Airport Terminal 1 - 2, take the S9 (direction Spandau) to Hackescher Markt S-Bahn station. Now take the M1 tram (direction Schillerstraße or Rosenthal Nord) to Zionskirchplatz. Now it is only a few meters to the Hotel Kastanienhof at Kastanienallee 65.
It's much faster with the new AirPortExpress or the regional trains to the Friedrichstrasse S-Bahn station. From Friedrichstrasse, please continue with the M1 tram (towards Schillerstrasse or Rosenthal/Nord) or the 12 tram (Pasedagplatz) to Zionskirchplatz. Now it is only a few meters to the Hotel Kastanienhof at Kastanienallee 65.
From the main train station, take the S5 (direction Strausberg-Nord), S7 (direction Ahrensfelde), S75 (direction Wartenberg) or S3 (direction Erkner) to Hackescher Markt. Here you take the M1 tram (direction Schillingstraße or Rosenthal Nord) to the Zionskirchplatz station. Get off there and walk a few meters in the direction of travel.
Alternatively, you can take the M8 tram from the main train station in the direction of Ahrensfelde to Pappelplatz. There you change to tram 12 in the direction of Weißensee, Pasedagplatz and get off at the Zionskirchplatz station. From there it is only a few meters in the direction of travel to the hotel.
From Ostbahnhof, take the S5 (direction Westkreuz), S7 (direction Potsdam) or S3 (direction Spandau) to Hackescher Markt and then take the M1 tram (direction Schillerstraße or Rosenthal/Nord) to Zionskirchplatz. Now it is only a few meters to the hotel.
From Lichtenberg train station, take the S-Bahn S5 (towards Westkreuz), S7 (towards Potsdam) or S75 (towards Spandau) to Hackescher Markt. Change here to the M1 tram (direction Rosenthal Nord or Schillerstraße) and get off at the Zionskirchplatz station. Now it is only a few meters to the Hotel Kastanienhof.
